Superset deploys memory and performance optimizations
Superset released performance updates designed to reduce memory usage and improve responsiveness during heavy workloads. Key improvements include a 26% reduction in renderer memory usage by offloading idle terminals to disk and a 3x reduction in UI stalls during heavy git operations. Additionally, background port scanning was optimized to reduce CPU consumption by replacing multiple per-terminal scans with a single shared scan. These changes are intended to improve stability and performance on machines with limited memory.

Superset updates terminal features and adds Mistral Vibe agent
Superset introduced several new features, including a Rich Input overlay for the terminal, which allows users to compose multi-line prompts in a dedicated editor. Performance improvements include optimized terminal scrolling. A new terminal agent, Mistral Vibe, was added to the platform. Further updates include enabling remote host connections for all plans, a new Australian relay region for lower latency, and various UI improvements such as an inline update progress indicator.
Superset launches custom terminal agents and Fable 5 model support
Superset introduced support for custom terminal agents, allowing users to define their own CLI agents with specific icons and launch commands. The workspace interface was updated with a redesigned activity strip to display running agents and forwarded ports. The platform also added support for the Fable 5 model family, including adjustable reasoning-effort levels.
