Quilter Releases Platform Updates Including Flexible Impedance and Cadence Schematic Support
Quilter has shipped several updates to its PCB design platform. Users can now input specific target impedance values for differential pairs rather than relying on predefined dropdown options, and can set independent values for single-ended and differential impedance. A new Floorplan page has been introduced to improve visibility into placement behavior. The platform now supports parsing Cadence schematic files (XML, QLT, DSN, and BRD) to improve capacitor assignment and placement. Additionally, unrouted nets are now surfaced in the 'Design Review' sidebar, allowing users to identify incomplete routing without manually inspecting airwires.
