GitHub Copilot has integrated Claude Opus 5, the latest model from Anthropic, for use in coding tasks. Designed for complex, multi-step workflows like autonomous code changes and regression verification, the model includes enhanced cyber-related safeguards. It is currently rolling out to Copilot Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise plan users across various platforms, including Visual Studio Code, JetBrains, and the web interface.
