Trust profile
k-ID now accepts Apple's confirmed declaration type as a verified platform age signal for players on iOS 26.5 and later. This update allows k-ID to treat the confirmed status, which involves methods like credit card or government ID verification, as verified. This integration can suppress age gates and satisfy verification thresholds. While k-ID continues to support earlier Apple legacy types for backwards compatibility, other platform declarations like selfDeclared or guardianDeclared remain unverified and do not bypass verification requirements.
k-ID updated the /session/delete API endpoint to include a new hardDelete flag. When set to true, this optional parameter enables developers to permanently erase a player session and its associated embedded consent, rather than only performing a reversible revocation. This action is irreversible and also updates any in-flight challenges associated with the session to a failed status. The feature requires explicit enablement by developers; calling the flag without permission will return a disabled error, ensuring existing default session handling remains unchanged.
