JSOL Corporation has released a beta version of the JMAG Surrogate-Based Optimization (SBO) tool. This software allows users to conduct high-speed, multi-disciplinary optimizations of electric machines by utilizing surrogate models generated from magnetic, thermal, structural, and electric field analyses in JMAG-Designer. The tool enables users to evaluate potential designs and check specification changes without requiring a full JMAG-Designer license during the optimization process. It is being offered as free software through the company's web member portal.
