DaisyDisk version 4.34 introduces native support for APFS clones to improve disk space calculation accuracy. The update enables the software to detect APFS clones and account for them similarly to hard links. In this updated implementation, only the first occurrence of a clone is counted towards total folder size, while subsequent instances are assigned a virtual size of 0 bytes, preventing inaccurate duplication of reported disk usage.
