Trust profile
Cequence Security has appointed Rupal Shah Hollenbeck to its Board of Directors. Hollenbeck, the former President of Check Point Software, joins the company to provide strategic guidance on marketing, positioning, and growth as Cequence scales its operations in the agentic AI market. Her background includes extensive executive experience in enterprise technology and cybersecurity, including past roles at Intel and Oracle.
Cequence Security announced the general availability of Cequence Platform 9.0, an AI-native update designed to enhance API security. The release features a built-in AI Assistant for plain-language querying of security data, an open Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for integration with automation workflows, and a re-architected API security engine for improved performance. The platform also includes a new risk rules library mapped to 25 global compliance frameworks, enabling audit-ready reporting and remediation guidance without requiring custom development.
Cequence Security introduced Intent Graph and Biometric Check features to its behavioral security platform. Intent Graph provides AI-driven behavioral modeling across web, mobile, API, and agentic AI traffic, allowing teams to adjust detection vectors without code changes. Biometric Check provides hardware-bound, cryptographically attested identity verification using device-level security (e.g., Face ID or Touch ID) in place of traditional challenges like CAPTCHAs, aimed at securing high-stakes actions in agentic workflows.
