Anaconda Inc. has acquired Kilo Code, an open-source agentic engineering platform used by developers across VS Code, JetBrains, web, and CLI environments. The acquisition aims to integrate agentic engineering capabilities into the Anaconda Platform, allowing developers to manage AI model selection and tasks from initial prompts through to production. Kilo Code will continue to operate as part of Anaconda, with plans to connect its agentic workspace tools to Anaconda's existing governed packages and secure AI development environments.
